Daryle Wane, Speaker at Obesity Conference
Nurse Consultant, United States

Abstract:

In today’s world, we are all impacted by how policies affect our nutritional status in terms of food development, processing, lifestyle choices, environment, and genetics. Exploration of EBP resources will help to serve as a framework for discussion for future practice management. We will utilize a case study approach to examine the dynamic relationship between eating patterns versus pharmacological treatment of obesity. And while it may be easier to incorporate injections as part of one’s nutritional regimen, it is also time to focus on how improvements can be made in our overall food/lifestyle pattern so that food and exercise and well-being will become the ultimate patient-centred healthcare goal.
