Mehrangiz Ghorbani, Speaker at Obesity Conference
Azad University, Iran (Islamic Republic of)

Abstract:

Neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to adapt and reorganize itself, plays a critical role in cognitive function, learning, and mental health. Recent research highlights the profound impact of physical exercise on neuroplasticity, influencing memory, executive function, and emotional well-being. This interactive workshop aims to explore the mechanisms underlying exercise-induced neuroplasticity and its implications for obesity management, mental health, and overall brain function.

In this workshop, participants will: Understand the physiological and neurological mechanisms through which exercise influences brain plasticity. Explore evidence-based strategies linking physical activity with improved cognitive function and emotional regulation. Engage in discussions on how structured exercise programs can be integrated into weight management and mental health interventions. Apply key concepts through interactive exercises and case studies. This session will be designed for professionals in healthcare, neuroscience, psychology, and fitness, providing practical knowledge on harnessing exercise for cognitive and emotional well-being.
