Biography:
Sevara Anvarova received her MSc in Endocrinology from the Tashkent Medical Academy in 2019. She joined the Laboratory of Neuroendocrine Research at the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Turakulov, where she began studying neuroendocrine mechanisms of obesity, supervised by prof. Khalimova. In 2023, she started her PhD focusing on the role of oxytocin in metabolic dysfunction and disordered eating. Her research integrates clinical diagnostics, behavioral assessment, and biomarker profiling. She has authored several scientific papers and actively contributes to regional public health initiatives addressing obesity and related non-communicable diseases in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
