Samir Kohli, an ex-Navy Marine (Special Forces) Aviation Captain, has served with distinction through three tours of combat duty and was awarded the Medal of Honor for “Gallantry Beyond the Call of Duty.” With over four decades of leadership experience in international aviation, he holds a Ph.D. in Aviation Safety and specializes in Aircraft Accident Investigations and Aviation Safety Management Systems. Drawing on his investigative expertise, Samir applied the analytical principles of accident investigation to confront a personal health crisis. Through this unique approach, he not only discovered his own path to recovery but also identified replicable solutions that others can benefit from. His journey has resonated with audiences around the world, and as obesity and diabetes continue to surge as global health challenges, his work, Hacking the Obesity Code, offers timely, science-based, and actionable wellness strategies that meet a critical and growing need.
