Biography:

Louise is a postdoctoral researcher in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program at the University of Brasília (UnB). She holds a Pharmacy degree (UnB, 2016), a master's (UnB, 2019), and a Ph.D. (UnB, 2023) in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focuses on metabolism, exploring obesity-induced alterations in gut microbiota and cognitive function. She collaborates on projects investigating the link between peripheral and central metabolic dysfunctions, with an emphasis on bioenergetics and metabolism.
