Biography:
Dr. Faro is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Health Informatics and Implementation Science in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Lasell University, her Master’s of Science in Exercise Science from the George Washington University, her PhD in Exercise and Health Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and completed an NIH-funded postdoctoral research fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School, Her research uses mHealth, informatics, and implementation approaches to increase physical activity and interventions in at-risk populations. She has several NIH-funded grants, and almost 40 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of physical activity, health behavior change, and implementation science.
