Biography:

Asef Mahmud, MD, FACP, FAAP, DABOM, is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obesity Medicine. He is the Medical Director of the Adolescent Bariatric Surgery Clinic at AdventHealth Orlando, leading multidisciplinary care for surgical patients. Dr. Mahmud serves as Assistant Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at AdventHealth Orlando and holds faculty appointments at Florida State and Loma Linda Universities. Additionally, he leads adult care at the AdventHealth Lifespan Down Syndrome Clinic and Pediatric Complex Care Clinic.
