Amy Laktash is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in bariatric surgery and obesity medicine. She has worked at Cleveland Clinic, leading the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, and now practices at FlyteHealth, offering comprehensive obesity care. Amy also serves as an Executive Officer for the ASMBS Ohio/Kentucky Chapter and State Representative for the ASMBS Access to Care Committee. She earned her BSN from Miami University and MSN from The University of Akron, and is board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She regularly speaks at national webinars and conferences, sharing her expertise in obesity medicine and bariatric surgery.
