Vaclav Bunc

Biography:

Vaclav Bunc – earned the PhD from Technical University Prague, professor in the Exercise Physiology from Charles University Prague Main topics: exercise physiology, obesity reduction,  body composition, BIA methods, moving regimes for prevention in cardiac and obese patients. He is member of Czech and International scientific societies, head of many research projects, author of the great numbers of research reports.

Higinio Mappala

Biography:

Professor Higinio T. Mappala is a Full-time Senior Medical Specialist and Administrator at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, Manila, Philippines, A Board-certified Internist, Gastroenterologist, Endoscopist, Clinical Nutritionist and Clinical Toxicologist; has served as a University Professor and Dean of 2 Medical Schools; a highly-regarded Researcher, with more than 90 scientific papers, and more than 50 international publications, had more than 160 invites as Plenary Speaker in International Conventions since 2018 to 202, with 17 invites this year. A former Board Director of the Philippine Societies of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy; Editorial Board member, American Journal of Biomedical Science and Research; Editorial Board, AS Journal of Gastroenterology, Online Research rater of McMaster, Canada; Awardee, One of Leading Physicians in Gastroenterology 2015 and A nominee as one of the Top 100 Leading Physicians 2018 by the American Institute of Sciences. He was conferred an honorary Doctorate degree in Philosophy by the same Institute in 2019, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Disinction as Eminent Scientists of 2022 by INSO. He is currently the Dean of Mapua University International School of Medicine.

Deshanie Rai

Dr. Rai is an accomplished scientist focused on developing, translating, and communicating science related to health and wellness. She has made significant scientific contributions to self-care including the design, implementation, and publication of studies across multiple therapeutic areas: gastrointestinal health, vision and cognitive health, and the microbiome. Through this work, she has supported product launches for infants, children, and adults. Vinod Nikhra

Biography:

Dr. Vinod Nikhra works as Consultant and Division Head Department of Medicine at Hindu Rao Hospital, New Delhi,India.Qualified in internal medicine, he has been trained in cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, and hospital management. Apart from this his interest areas include aging research, clinical virology, gastroenterology, obesity, and metabolic syndrome. Currently, he is consultant and Unit Incharge in Department of Medicine, Hindu Rao Hospital and NDMC Medical College, New Delhi. Hindu Rao Hospital is a multispecialty, thousand bedded, government hospital - recognized for DNB (Medicine) - in north Delhi. The present job includes clinical (Outdoor and Indoor patients) and administrative responsibilities. It also involves teaching to DNB (Post Graduate Course equivalent to M.D. in Medicine) students.
He is reviewer and on editorial board of various international journals. He has published over 100 research and review papers in leading journals, and 12 books and eBooks including ‘Date with the Pandemic’, ‘Ageing slowly, Living longer’, and ‘Anti-Obesity Guide’, which are available on Amazon and its subsidiaries and other book sellers. He has traveled widely and spoken at medical and scientific meetings in various countries.

Raffaele Pilla

Biography:

Raffaele Pilla, Pharm.D., Ph.D., Doctor Europaeus, received his Master’s degree in Pharmacy at G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara, Italy in 2005, where he also served internships at the Cell Physiology Laboratory and Molecular Biology Laboratory. Prior, he was an Erasmus Student at Faculte de Pharmacie de Reims in Reims, France. He received his Doctor Europaeus in 2010 from Pitie-Salpetriere Institute in Paris, France. Also in 2010, he received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Physiology and Pathology of Muscle at G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara, Italy. He was hired as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, on two research grants funded by the Office of Naval Research (US Navy) and Divers’ Alert Network. He has written and lectured widely worldwide. He has been involved in ongoing research at the University of South Florida with the use of ketone esters.

Renata Machado Pinto

Federal University of Goias, Brazil

Biography:

Renata Machado Pinto graduated in Medicine in 1997, then held a medical residency in Pediatrics and later in Pediatric Endocrinology. She has a master's degree in genetics and a doctorate in health sciences, researching the effect of genetic polymorphisms in the genesis of childhood obesity and its complications. She is a professor in the department of pediatrics at the Federal University of Goiás, and is coordinator of the academic leagues of Pediatrics and Endocrinology. She is a member of the Scientific Department of Endocrinology of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. She works in a doctor's office, attending mainly the topics: growth, puberty, genital disorders, nutrition, dyslipidemia, and childhood obesity.
